Ann Bacharach has 35 years of experience in outreach and enrollment for Medicaid and CHIP. This includes coalition building, application and renewal assistance and a deep knowledge of Medicaid and CHIP rules and regulations, processing and procedures, and the system for appeals of eligibility determinations. She is familiar with Pennsylvania’s application web portal COMPASS and has developed strong relationships with the Medicaid and CHIP agency’s administrators.
Ann has managed past outreach and enrollment projects and presented trainings on the intricacies of the Medicaid and CHIP eligibility rules, how to use COMPASS, Medicaid for Children and Youth with Special Needs, and effective outreach strategies and tactics. She recently completed a Health Care Manual for School Nurses and Counselors, and Other Child-Serving Professionals.
