Beth Heeb currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh, a 70-million-dollar nonprofit annually serving over 50,000 women, children and families across nine counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Operations under Beth’s leadership account for 95 percent of the total operating budget and approximately 140 employees.

Prior to joining the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh in 2014, Beth was the Executive Director of the Consumer Health Coalition, a dynamic, nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to quality, affordable health care, and a voice in the health care decisions and policies that impact them directly. Ms. Heeb has over a decade of executive level non-profit administration experience. Preceding Consumer Health Coalition, Beth was the Executive Director of Schiller Park Community Services located in Buffalo, New York. Throughout her career, Ms. Heeb has managed a wide variety of programs from seniors to young children, including a comprehensive case management program designed to keep frail seniors in their homes and out of nursing care, proactive patient programs intended to increase one’s ability to play an active role in their own health care, housing for homeless families and childcare subsidy for working parents designed to improve self-sufficiency of families; and after-school summer enrichment programs for at-risk youth dedicated to keeping them off the street and out of trouble.

Over the years, Ms. Heeb has been invited to provide testimony at numerous government hearings before elected officials and administrative agencies alike. Beth holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Canisius College and is a Leadership Fellow of the Community Health Foundation of Western and Central New York. Currently, Ms. Heeb serves on the Leadership Team of the Pennsylvania Health Access Network. Previously served on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative, the Advisory Boards of the Allegheny County Link to Aging and Disability Resources and the Regional Health Literacy Coalition. Beth also chaired the Enrollment Committee of the statewide Cover the Commonwealth Campaign.
