Anaga is a recent graduate of Scripps College in Southern California with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Politics. While in college, she became passionate about the intersection of health and politics, becoming involved in the drug decriminalization campaign in her home state of Oregon as a community organizer, helping to frame substance abuse as a health issue rather than a criminal one. She is excited to dive more into health equity during her time at PHAN, and is grateful to her year-long fellowship program with Quaker Voluntary Service for providing her this opportunity.
