Bio: George W. Bush and the right-wing media machine share a lot of the credit for turning this former college prof into a community organizer. My family's disturbing encounters with our out-of-control, for-profit health insurance system in Williamsport, PA -- those are responsible for making me into a health care activist. No one in America should have to go without the quality health care we have in this country, just for lack of money or just because some insurance bureaucrat stands in the way. I'm here with PHAN because I passionately believe in our goal of quality, affordable health care for all Pennsylvanians.
