Policy Call: Medicaid, Explained

Medicaid is a vital lifeline for hundreds of thousands of seniors, kids, and people with disabilities in Pennsylvania. It also funds thousands of jobs in the health and long-term care industries and helps hospitals offset the cost of care for folks who are uninsured or underinsured. 

Unfortunately, this critically important program has fallen under consistent attack at both the state and federal level. It's more important than ever to understand how Medicaid works, who it helps, and how we can protect it.
