Jessica Foster (Red Service Area)

Q. Why do you care about getting people covered?
A. I believe no one should go untreated when they need it!

Q. What experience do you have that helps you as a navigator?
A. In the past, I worked with Latino populations to help them access health care and other help for integrating into the local community.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do for fun?
A. I love traveling and trying new foods!

Alvaro Castillo (Dark Green Service Area)

Q. Why do you care about getting people covered?
A. I believe health insurance is a right and should not be a privilege.

Q. What experience do you have that helps you as a navigator?
A. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with community leaders throughout my area to make sure people know where they can get help with health insurance.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do for fun?
A. Spend time with my wife and family traveling, discovering, and making memories.

Victoria Decker (Purple Service Area)

Q. Why do you care about getting people covered?
A.  I’m a lifelong rural Pennsylvanian who returned to the Carlisle/ Harrisburg area to help empower my local community & make sure they are part of the conversation on access to healthcare.

Q. What experience do you have that helps you as a navigator?
A.  I’m a recent graduate of Lafayette College, where I studied public health and learned that through effective community engagement and collaborations that real progress can be made.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do for fun?
A. Hang out with my cats, play sports, and try new foods & music.

Mark Middlebrook (Yellow Service Area)

Q. Why do you care about getting people covered?
A. I think we ALL should have access to our communities.  Having poor health can become a barrier to accessing our lives/community.

Q. What experience do you have that helps you as a navigator?
A. Prior to being a Navigator, I worked in support roles for people with disabilities, in their homes, work spaces, as well as leisure and recreation spaces.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do for fun?
A.  My favorite thing to do is to sit down at a table with friends and take on a good cooperative board game!

Elise Foreback (Dark Blue Service Area)

Q. Why do you care about getting people covered?
A.  To me, it’s a gift to be able to make a difference in peoples’ lives and see the results.

Q. What experience do you have that helps you as a navigator?
A.  I have a background in supporting individuals with disabilities in maintaining independent lives within their communities and am completing a Bachelor’s in Social Work.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do for fun?
A. Reading, traveling, and spending time with my family.
