Where does your state senator stand on health care? - An op-ed in the Allentown Morning Call

The Pennsylvania state senate is in the middle of a major debate on health care that will be decided by the end of June.  In this April 29th editorial, Berry Friesen, Public Affairs Manager for the Pennsylvania Health Access Network, sorts out the key issues and  identifies the crucial questions.  He asks consumers to contact their senators and let their voices be heard. Here are two excerpts.

"Health care will be a hot topic in the fall presidential campaign.  Thanks to two bills recently passed by our state House of Representatives, we don't have to wait for Washington; the debate over two very different approaches offered by the presidential candidates is raging in our state house today."

"This is an important debate that likely will conclude by the end of June.  As consumers of health insurance, all of us should participate by letting our senators know where we stand."
