Top 10 Reasons Progressives Should Support Senate Health Bill

The health care reform bill now before the U.S. Senate is not without its problems, but if passed, it will represent the most significant reform of our health care system in decades. That's why, former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta writes in a Dec. 16 op-ed, progressives should support the Senate health bill.

He stands in contrast to some progressive leaders, like former Vermont Governor and DNC Chairman Howard Dean, who has called on policymakers to kill the Senate bill.
